A few snaps from the last week…

Sunny morning cruise along the lake, the ADKs in the background.

Commuter and racer dudes - get a bell, and learn how to use it. In civilized society it is the norm for signaling a pass or calling out to cyclists and peds on the road or path. It won't knock your street cred - and if you need to race, take it to the road, please.

Curious what kind of bell you have on your headset there? Also, do you think it would work with a threaded quill stem? I ride a lot on a bike path, and a bell would be a lot better than constantly yelling “on your left” to rollerbladers, runners, and slower cyclists. Enjoying your blog and pics. Keep up the good work.
It is a bell from Velo Orange… its basically a tapped headset spacer, works well, except when folks have the iPod cranked up or are on the phone… then no amount of dinging or yelling will work. I believe they make a quill compatible version…. Thanks for reading!
Beaudry’s = doughnuts. They should put that on their sign; Groceries, deli, meats, doughnuts.
