Brevet cards, maps, and a cue sheet...
Less than a week to the NE Flèche 2009. Our team is down to 3, we swapped some gear and ran through a pre-ride checklist last night. Brevet cards have arrived. Final route tweaking and gear selection is ongoing. Hoping for mild temperatures and sunny skies. Night shakedown ride will happen this week.

The IF with Acorn Bag, Mark's Rack and Edeluxe. I'll add a small seat pack for tools, tubes, and other small items.

Wowsers, I was hoping for less climbing than that. Maybe the numbers are wrong. Regardless, we are going to kick ass.
Apparently my husband tells everyone else about the night ride except for the wife that has to watch the babe…..good thing he is so damn cute!
Hmm, maybe the computer just slipped that nightride sentence in there when he wasn’t looking?
That sneaky computer. I’ll have to make a sign in for Jen. She found it funny that blog readers knew about that shakedown ride and she didn’t… (and considering the babe goes to bed just about the time the sun goes down… shouldn’t be too much of a problem…)
I went to this blog and a family feud broke out….
…and all you got was that crappy t-shirt!
Very excited for the ride… can’t wait to be rolling. I’ll have 6 bonus miles though – from my place to the start.
