I wanted to pass on all the compliments the Lake Champlain brevet routes — everyone loved the rides and especially Highlands Road. Thanks for designing them and running them for so many years!
Thank you!Twas a labor of love…
How is that fork? (Is this the one you thought got bent in transport?)
It appears to be bent a bit across the axis of the axle… wheel is hard going in and out. Not sure how it is the other direction, as I don’t have a frame jig.
Waiting on insurance claims with the moving company – but its odd, they were very helpful and took our money in full (in cash, had to wire it to them) – but now they have gotten really quiet. Damage to our walls, damage to an heirloom piece of furniture, bent rotor on my Krampus (they didn’t really pack the bikes very well…), 2 busted fenders, damaged filing cabinets, some of my tools got damaged, my NAS and backup drive had the fan housing busted, they apparently opened and stashed 5-10 boxes within other furniture to get everything to fit into the container – but didn’t do an inventory on the boxes they opened up and re-packed, so our inventory list is incomplete and we don’t really know if everything is here … on and on…. 🙁
Ugh, that’s awful! So sorry. I hope the insurance comes through. Moving is great but also hard in so many ways! Glad it seems like you are enjoying the new place despite all that.
