Quack

Mallard flew up to me and followed me around on foot and wing for a few minutes when I was out photographing the waterfront. Fearless.

Bald Eagle, Photobombed

Bald Eagle Photobomb

I was snapping away and saw the shadow on the screen, looked up and hoped that the eagle would make its way back around where I was filming. I didn’t realize I caught it on camera until I got home.

Eagle

I snuck down to the shore of Lake Champlain at Shelburne Farms last week after I dropped the kids off at school to check out some dramatic clouds and the fog / steam rising into the cold cold air from the warm lake water. This lovely creature made a few passes and I was able to get a few images captured before he took off down the lake.

Curious Beast

Not sure what to make of this beast. It looks well ridden and well loved, and that is the most important thing.

Trek 660 with a carbon fork. 1×9(?) drivetrain. Mountain bike shifter pod. Looks like old brake levers with the cable run under the bar tape.
