Beams of light falling from the winter sky on Lake Champlain, playing with a new lens to get some more reach, and thinking about how to process winter light.
Soft
An image from the B-roll when shooting North Light a few weeks ago. Soft, blown out sun, but I like the feel of this image.
Golden, Redux
Still feeling quite flat, new adventures await, but the house needs to sell, moving and coordination to land the family overseas is draining, work piles up, and I long for simpler times. Reworked this golden sunset during the recent snowstorm – it has brightened the mood.
Mood of the Lake
Same spot, different days and times.
Three, Changing
Revisiting the same spot as much as I can, learning about the lake, ice, water, and the sky. My favorite winter subjects on the Burlington, Vermont waterfront.
North Light
Amazing, how much things change from day to day.
Flat
Feeling flat lately, big move and life changes coming up for the whole family, and I’m feeling bittersweet about turning the page to the next chapter of our lives. I’ve been working on getting out with the camera – but house prep and general stress has me feeling down about everything I’ve been doing… hoping that changes soon.
Blue Hour
Fading
